Current project: Ropes
A vocal and instrumental electronic music album about learning the ropes. Raw, relatable, a little bit cringey, energized, flagrantly immature, and 100% authentic.
1) Icarus
Was it worth the fall for the sun? This introductory piece explores the reckless desire to do your own thing. Sometimes the consequences of your temptations are worth it.
2) What a Fucking Headache
Dealing with people can be a headache. I’ve lost so many friends, acquaintances, and even family simply because I don’t understand how people expect me to act. I can’t read your social cues, okay!?
3) Run From Me
One of the most dehumanizing things is to be helplessly dependent on someone. Imagine if they constantly used that fact to take advantage of you while pretending you had the choice to leave…
4) Sympathy
The masses have plenty of sympathy to offer, but very little genuine concern. A typical response to seeing someone in need is a sympathetic gesture, if not flat-out ignoring them. How awful is that?
5) Come Out and Play
What’s the point of being young if you aren’t having any fun? This song is both a pun about being gay and a nod to some of the wonderfully weird people in my life.
More coming soon!
Ghost
An up-tempo electronic song about friends who really ought to reach out. Inspired by EDM pop of the 2010s and alternative rock/metal of the 90s and 2000s.
Author's notes
This song is about some very good friends of mine who, for whatever reason, have not reached out to me or apparently anyone else in the clique for at least five months now. I can only speculate as to why this could be. I suspect they're not doing well and unfortunately isolating themselves, or perhaps they're busy with other people and leaving me behind. Who's to say! I know they aren't gone in a literal sense, but maybe mentally.
I'm concerned... enough to the point that I felt it necessary to write a song. It's very easy to isolate oneself in this day and age so if you resonate with this music, it could be time to reach out to someone. It might be more necessary than you realize.
OST - Technotes
A silly rhythm game with techno music. Made for the Tavern Winter Game Jam in 2025.
Author's notes
Not too long ago, we made the game Technotes for the Tavern Winter Game Jam. We were tasked with making rhythm games so we assembled into a team of three musicians, one artist, and one programmer, and got to work. We ended up winning the jam! The judges gave praise to the musical content of the game and the overall amount of content.
This is the soundtrack from that game. It contains all the music that was used as well as some unused tracks we didn't get to implement.
Halo (feat. Olivia Ganley) [Version 2]
A moody electronic song about a relationship that was never truly genuine. Inspired by modern pop, dubstep, and rock-tronic music.
Author's notes
The song is about a long-standing relationship that slowly soured and revealed itself to not be genuine over time. All the good things about the guy in question turned out to be fake. In other words, he was never an angel to begin with.
The first version of this track was pretty good. I had fun making it. This second version however... blows it completely out of the water. The drops are completely revamped and they have vocals too, the last section was made into rock-tronic as opposed to drum n' bass, the production is improved by a fair margin, and the mastering is better as well.
Loud AF (Album)
A collection of loud, distorted, hardcore EDM tracks.
1) Brain Worms
Samples Elon Musk’s speech during Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration ceremony.
2) 2 TH3 F1N15H
Inspired by femtanyl.
3) CEO
Made in “celebration” of Brian Thompson, the deceased CEO of UnitedHealthcare.
4) Pie
5) Paradox of Tolerance
Is intolerance something that should be tolerated?
6) Perfect Fifth
An expansion upon the simple interval.
7) Grim Reaper
8) Nostalgic Sour Toilet Candy
Features a MIDI quintet of accordion, ocarina, trumpet, sitar, and keytar... because I thought it was funny.
Egg (For Clarinet and Fixed Media)
What you believe is what you experience, right? Well, there are some things in this world that you simply cannot wish away.
Author's notes
I started writing this piece in October 2023, two months after starting my gender transition. In January of 2024, the fixed media track and the notation were complete. Soon after, I performed, recorded, and finished producing it. I performed this piece at two different recitals that semester, to the audience’s delight. I thought, unfortunately, that’s where the story of this piece would end.
Fortunately, I was wrong. Once it was all done, I posted Egg to a little website called Newgrounds just to show it off. It initially got a few hundred listens, a couple votes, and a few people had included it in their “favorites”. Nothing special, really (a couple of my previous projects at that point had surpassed 1,000 listens). Fast forward to August 2025 however, Newgrounds is having a “Treasure Hunt” competition. Low and behold, someone digs up this piece, submits it to the competition, and it ends up winning.
Egg ended up earning me a spot on both the site’s front page and Tom’s (Newgounds’ creator and owner) monthly news post, as well as a 75$ prize and thousands of listens.
The piece captures all the feelings wrapped up in my transition: enlightenment, hope, denial, determination, and indeed joy.
