About 🔎 11/06/2025

Maya Hauptmann, known by her alias MYYA DYNAMIC, is an indie electronic music artist and audio engineer specializing in music for games and videos. She is currently producing for the in-development games Manarchy and Finest Fable, working towards a degree in Music Technology and Commercial Music at the University of Central Missouri, learning web development, and producing an album, Ropes. Maya holds an officer position in her local chapter of Audio Engineering Society (AES), and works with them to provide sound reinforcement for concerts and other productions. She has composed electroacoustic and contemporary pieces for clarinet and performed them at showcases and recitals.

Having grown up in the rural town of Hallsville, Missouri, Maya didn't have a whole lot of things to do when she was younger, nor did she have many avenues of self expression. Her natural curiosity led her to develop an interest in music at 14 after joining band, and a couple years later she was fiddling with music software. Pretty soon, electronic music became her ambition. She got a copy of FL Studio 20, and over the next couple years she made over 100 projects--some publicly available, some not. After graduating from high school, she quickly set her sights on bigger things and started composing music for games, videos, competitions and more.

Maya composes and produces her music generally using FL Studio 2024, but she can use Ableton, Reaper, Pro Tools, and Logic as well. She plays clarinet, piano, electric bass, guitar, and sings.

Tools and Services 🔎 11/06/2025

These are my main/favorite tools and services that I use to complete my projects.

Stance on AI 💢 11/13/2025

I do not use AI to generate anything in my website or my projects. I do not wish to work for anyone's project if it will include AI for anything more than the tiniest details, and even then I'm very skeptical. Art should remain a human endeavor. If it's not worth your time to make, it's not worth anyone's time to look at or listen to.

Using AI tools to analyze and automate things in the process is fine. Generative AI specifically is what I take issue with.

I really hope that as a society, we can move past AI "art" and reserve our use of machine learning for things that actually improve people's lives. AI has done enough damage to the internet, the environment, and our media.
